We are seeking a skilled and motivated Geologist to join our dynamic team in Ontario.In this role, you will be integral to our resource development and operational support. You will work on-site and in the office, applying geological principles to model ore bodies, guide mining activities, and contribute to the growth of our mineral reserves. Your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and longevity of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct geological mapping, core logging, and sampling of diamond drill core.
  • Develop and update geological and resource models using industry-standard software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac).
  • Collaborate with the mine planning team to create accurate ore control block models and provide grade control guidance.
  • Monitor and validate ore production from the mine face to the mill, ensuring resource models are accurately reflected in production.
  • Interpret geophysical and geochemical data to aid in exploration targeting and resource definition.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Uphold and promote the highest standards of safety, environmental stewardship, and professional ethics in all field and office work.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mineral exploration, resource geology, or mine geology.
  • Proven experience with geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog Geo, Vulcan, Gemcom/Surpac) and GIS applications.
  • Strong understanding of ore deposit types, particularly magmatic sulphides (Ni-Cu-PGE) and/or precious/base metals.
  • Excellent skills in core logging, geological mapping, and 3D interpretation.
  • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
