We are seeking a skilled and certified Industrial Millwright to join our dynamic maintenance team in Ontario.In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure the continuous and safe operation of our processing plant equipment, from crushing and grinding circuits to flotation cells and conveyor systems. Your work directly impacts our safety record, production targets, and operational excellence.

- Perform mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial equipment including pumps, centrifuges, filters, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to troubleshoot issues and complete tasks.
- Conduct precision alignment on shafts, couplings, and bearings using lasers and other alignment tools.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks as required for repairs and projects.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to receive work orders, log hours, and record parts used.
- Adhere to all lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and other critical safety protocols without exception.
- Collaborate with operators, electricians, and planners to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Job Requirement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Millwright in a heavy industrial environment; mining, mineral processing, or manufacturing preferred.
- Strong proficiency in preventative/predictive maintenance, precision tool use (laser alignment, dial indicators), and troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding (MIG, stick) and cutting (oxy-acetylene, plasma) is required.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong commitment to safety with a proven track record of safe work practices.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and respond to occasional call-outs.
